Comfort Suites

Everything in the room was extremely clean and well kept. Complimentary breakfast served until 9AM- it was similar to what you would find in a cafeteria with some fresh and some prepackaged items. I enjoyed the black and green tea with sausage and potatoes. Also served eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal, toast, bananas, yogurt. There was a shelf behind the front desk selling convenience store type items. Had a pool and hot tub, seemed to be functional though I did not get in it. Location was somewhat removed from the strip of shady motels on the other side of the freeway and felt more secure. The price was high for Bakersfield at $130, but I felt that it was worth it. NO BED BUGS. Pleasant experience overall.

We have been with choice for 11 years and have yet to have a truly bad encounter till now. We have stayed at the this specific hotel one other time and had no trouble. We came back expecting it to be just like last time. Rooms are clean but busted up like to many hotel parties have been had there. As well as a new horrible twist. As we were checking in we were told they would be checking the room after we checked out. Our assumption was they were making sure no new things were being broken. We get into the room and things were broken, sink had a insane sized cracks and other minor broken fixtures. Nothing big that was a make or break. Went to the pool and some youths had left it a huge mess. Towels all over with trash and cups all over. We played around and went back to our room slept well even though we were located on the main floor by the laundry/ elevator and breakfast room. Had our breakfast with out any problems, went back to our room and started packing. My husband ran the first load out while we were still packing. The boy at the front desk followed him back to our room to "check" the room. He dove right into the bathroom while our stuff was in there while we all looked confused and bewildered while he was in the bathroom that we had not started packing yet. Our dirty laundry and other personal items were still on the counters in there. After 10 minutes employee comes out with a small wash cloth that has light red on it and informs us that he will have to charge us for the stained towel. My under aged daughter turned white as I realized it was from her menstruation. I took the blame and told the kid it's not a stain, menstruation washes out. He never washed his hands after touching the towel. He then proceeded to check the rest of the beds and the room looking everything over. He argued with my husband and myself while the breakfast room had other guests in it. At no point in time did they do a check on anyone else's room but ours. The argument continued into the lobby where he very loudly continued to inform us that it was grape jelly and we would be charged for it. We have never been so humiliated in our lives. The entire transaction made it feel as though we were criminals having the room tossed.

Wonderful hotel!! So clean and the service was above and beyond and very friendly. Full breakfast with several protein options. Coffee and water 24-7. Laundry facility available at a good price. Rated 4-star on location because I’m from a not so busy area and the traffic here is crazy. But that’s just me. I’m sure for people who are used to the heavy traffic, the location is just fine. Definitely recommend staying here!! Thank you!

I always enjoy my stay at Comfort Suites Hotels, and this one is no exception. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, on site washer and dryer, gym, free hot breakfast, with cookies and refreshments in the evening. There is a small convenience shelf (not really a store) and a nice, relaxing lobby. Additionally, it is right off the 99 highway which gives it easy access in and out of the area. Personable and friendly staff made the stay even more enjoyable. We stayed in a 2 queen suite, which offered a living/working area and microwave, fridge, and coffee maker.

Had the misfortune of being stuck in a room that shares a wall with the elevator shaft. Elevator noise all night long, awful for trying to sleep. As a result it was probably the worst hotel experience I’ve had to date. Absolutely ridiculous that they not only have this room and put people in it, but make people pay full price for it. Otherwise it’s your typical hotel with typical hotel quality.

If you like brown and "Liberaci" designs, you can't miss this hotel. If Liberaci is not your style, you will feel like you are in a nightmare. Everything is brown.There are columns in every corner, made of fake marble. You can find columns obstructing your path while you serve yourself breakfast. The interior designer of this place should have a lifetime prison sentence. It's a pure nightmare. No, it's not, because the sinkhole in your bed won't allow you to sleep. The polyester sheets will just add to your discomfort. The receptionist was great though and the breakfast decent.
